Prices in North Europe remain firm. Mills are pushing hard on HRC with prices getting very close to a minimum of EUR 700 per tonne basis EXW
Surprisingly in South Europe demand seems a little bit better. Spanish buyers are active mainly due to fears of shortage owing to Egyptian and Libyan crisis.
Ukrainian Mills are selling HRC in Mediterranean area at prices between EUR 560 per tonne to EUR 570 per tonne CFR FO with March/April delivery.
Chinese HRC Mills are trying to book quantities for shipment in May at prices below EUR 600 per tonne CFR FO.
HDG from Far Eastern Mills is being offered in Mediterranean area at prices ranging EUR 720 per tonne to EUR 750 per tonne CFR FO in Z120-140 coating.
