<span>Ukrainian rebar producers do not dare to implement another price increase in February. In mid-January, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih and Makeevka lifted their rebar prices to local buyers by 11%, and Donetsk Metal Rolling Plant increased its offers by 7%. They did so because FOB-quotations of square billet and rebar had been on the rise until the second half of January. The situation changed dramatically at the end of the month, export prices rolling back by $20-40/t on plummeting demand for longs in the main markets.
