The rebar market in the United Arab Emirates is said to be getting accustomed to new offer prices after the February prices were announced by the local producers. Producer prices are getting firmer at AED 2,750 o AED 2,775 per tonne.
Demand is still reported to be very weak, and an improvement is not expected. Retail prices are expected to soon reach AED 2,750 to AED 2,800 per tonne.
The Saudi Arabian market is still reported to be firm, with prices unchanged at AED 2,900 per tonne. Qatari rebar market prices are reported to have increased by QAR 200 per tonne to QAR 2,850 per tonne.
