Brazil’s iron ore exports recorded a 17 % growth to reach 310 million tons in 2010. In December alone, the exports totaled 32.176 million tons, up by 33% year on year.
Brazil exported 152.564 million tons of iron ore to China alone, up by 1.6% year on year; 37.422 million tons to Japan, up by 47.6% year on year; 20.972 million tons to Germany, up by 94.1% year on year; 11.902 million tons to South Korea, up by 26.5% year on year and 8.11 million tons to France, up by 731% year on year, Yieh corp reports.
