The government of Ukraine has approved the list of residuals and scrap of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, which supplies, including import, are released from value added tax till January 1, 2014. This is stated by decree No. 15 dated January 12, 2011 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Among them there are 12 positions of residuals and scrap of ferrous metals. Here are some of major positions from the list:
− Residuals and scrap of foundry iron;
− Residuals and scrap of stainless steel;
− Residuals and scrap of ferrous metal (steel), steel chips, filings, etc.;
− Residuals from cutting and stamping of steel, packed and unpacked;
− Shredded steel scrap;
− Ingots of alloyed steel for re-melting;
− Residuals and scrap of aluminium, copper, zinc, nickel and of alloys based on that metals;
− Residuals and scrap of tin, lead, tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, magnesium, cobalt, bismuth, etc.
