Ukraine’s flat steel exports up 9.4 percent in November over October- 02 Jan 10

In November this year, Ukraine's flat steel product exports increased by 9.4 percent compared to October, but decreased by 6.5 percent compared to November 2009 to 552,990 mt, valued at about $348.88 million.

Specifically, in November Ukraine's exports of hot rolled (HR) steel went up by 10.8 percent month on month to 450,480 mt, of which 56,020 mt were delivered to Poland, with 47,110 mt going to Turkey and 38,820 mt delivered to Russia.
The country's exports of cold rolled (CR) steel in November increased by about 10 percent compared to October to 67,250 mt. Of this volume, 11,670 mt were delivered to Turkey, 10,250 mt to Syria and 5,420 mt to Russia.

Meanwhile, Ukraine's November exports of other flat rolled products went down by six percent month on month to 35,260 mt, with 29,520 mt delivered to Russia, 2,720 mt shipped to Belarus and 930 mt exported to Azerbaijan.

In January-November this year, Ukraine's flat steel exports increased by 7.5 percent year on year to 5.957 million mt, valued at about $3.47 billion.
