Taiwan’s rebar export prices have slightly raised currently following scrap and billet.
The latest quotations of mid-class rebar goes up to C&F US$420/ton, and high tensile rebar is in the range of US$470/ton-US$480/ton.
Steel mills indicated that export prices are higher than its domestic prices by NT$500~700/ton, and that’s one of the main reasons to raise rebar prices. Steel mills also expect to set domestic prices at NT$12,000/ton. Source: Yieh.com
