Turkish steel export dropped by 13.3% year-on-year to 1.47 M tons in July. Export of reinforced bars dropped by 9% year-on-year to 634131 tons, steel billet export dropped by 41% to 207475 tons.
Simultaneously, export price for reinforced bar reached $533 in July this year compared to $446 in July 2009.
Export of wire rods from Turkey increased by 22% to 112945 tons while hot rolled and cold rolled coils export reduced by 43% and 66% correspondingly to 55256 tons and 12282 tons.
