Privately-owned Eghlid Steel project will be inaugurated in the last week of August at Southern Iranian province of Fars.
The US $ 500 million project will be supported by government and be finished within 4 years creating 800 direct jobs. An annual output of 1.5 million mt of billet is expected to be achieved at this DRI steel making mill.
It’s notable that Iranian government has guaranteed securing raw material needs of the project including iron ore.
