South Korea's Hyundai Steel said that it would raise prices of its major steel products by 6% from July 18th 2010.
The rise comes after the country's largest steelmaker POSCO said earlier this month that it would raise prices of its benchmark steel products by 6% from July 2010.
Hyundai Steel said in a statement that it would raise its hot rolled steel prices to KRW 900,000 per tonne from KRW 850,000, while prices of plates would rise to KRW 950,000 from KRW 900,000 a tonne.
