DJ cited Mr Osama Al Bar the holy city''s mayor as saying that Saudi Arabia plans to set up an internal rail network in the city of Makkah and a study is underway for this purpose.
He said that a contract has been signed with 2 international companies to conduct a study to link this network to the railways coming in to Makkah and to connect all parts of the city by train.
