As the international scrap prices continued to fall and the rainy season is coming, South Asia’s square billet demand is very weak and the import price keeps falling.
Currently CIS square billet export prices reached US$610/ton, which decreased by US$50/ton compared with April.
Meanwhile, import billet price is being quoted at US$630/ton in Vietnam.
