Hyundai Steel has announced increases of H beam export offer price by USD 30 per tonne for June and July 2010 shipments.
The main reason of price increase is the steel scrap price rise.
With the growing demand in the international H-beam market by economic stimulus packages by countries such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Australia and South American nations, Hyundai Steel raises H beam export prices in an effort to improve its profitability which has been and will be deteriorated by the accumulated export deficits resulting from the globally strong Korean Won and p rice hikes on freight.
