According to rebar quotes issued by the Department of Consumer Protection in the Ministry of Trade & Industry, all locally produced as well as imported rebar prices in Oman declined towards the end of the H2 of April.
Thus, selling prices ranged between OMR 300 to OMR 325 as compared to prices during the H1 of April which were at OMR 313 to OMR 335.
According to the list, prices of Sharq Sohar Company are in the range of OMR 310 per tonne to OMR 312 per tonne while Muscat Steel rebar price were in the range of OMR 335 per tonne to OMR 337 per tonne and Hadid Majan prices at OMR 300 per tonne.
The new published figures show a decline in UAE imported rebar price by 9% with a selling price of OMR 300 and Qatari rebar price came down to OMR 310 decreasing by 7.5%. Meanwhile, Turkish imported rebar went down by 2.1% and was sold at OMR 320 to OMR 325.
