Tehran Times reported that Iranian iron ore exports in the past financial year ended March 20th 2010 totalled 4.79 million tonnes up by 53% YoY.
Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported that the value of exports was around USD 297.4 million.
Last FY, 25 million tonnes of iron ore was produced in the country, which was 1% more than the year before.
Nearly 32 million tons of Iron ore was extracted in Iran in the past year, 2% higher year on year.
