Construction steel price performs mixed in China''s major markets including Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.
Shanghai
Construction steel price retreats a little in Shanghai market today. Business remains gloomy in the morning and demand hasn''t released as expected.
Now listing price of HRB335 DIAMETER16-25mm inspection exemption rebar prevails at CNY4280-4300 per tonne in Shanghai market and that of resources from Hubao Steel hit CNY4180 per tonne. HRB400 DIAMETER16-22mm rebar from Maanshan Steel and Yonggang are quoted at CNY4550 per tonne and HRB400 DIAMETER16-25mm rebar from Rizhao Steel at CNY4320 per tonne.
Wire rod price edges lower. At present, DIAMETER6.5mm high speed wire rod is sold at CNY4500 per tonne and DIAMETER8mm high speed wire rod at CNY4480 per tonne.
Round steel sales price stabilizes on the whole. Currently, Q235 DIAMETER16-25mm round steel from Fugang is quoted at CNY4530 per tonne, Q235 DIAMETER16-25mm round steel from Mahe Steel at CNY4750 per tonne and Q235 DIAMETER30-50mm round steel from Echeng Steel at CNY4750 per tonne.
Beijing
Construction steel price surges up CNY120-160 per tonne in Beijing market today. Demand from construction sites remains strong while inventory keeps sliding, which hence bolster construction price up in Beijing market.
Now Q235 DIAMETER6.5mm high speed wire rod from Shougang is quoted at CNY4600 per tonne, DIAMETER8mm high speed wire rod from Xuanhua Steel and Tangshan Steel at CNY4600 per tonne, HRB335 DIAMETER12mm rebar from Shougang at CNY4880 per tonne, DIAMETER18-25mm rebar at CNY4730 per tonne. HRB400 DIAMETER12mm rebar from Shougang is priced at CNY4970 per tonne, HRB400 DIAMETER18-25mm rebar at CNY4820 per tonne and HRB400 DIAMETER10mm coiled rebar from Chengde Steel at CNY4830 per tonne.
