SteelMint Events is hosting 3rd Indian Iron Ore
& Pellet Summit from 18-19th Feb'19 in Delhi, India. The two day
conference is observing participation from more than 300 delegates from across
12 countries. The summit is supported by Ministry of Steel and
has Mysteel as its supporting partner.
The summit is observing presence from more than 22+
speakers and panelists to share their views.
Mr Paul Gray, Research Director from Wood Mackenzie
shared "we assume a long term mid cycle iron ore price of $65/t ,
CFR".
He also highlighted that Seaborne iron ore trades for
past two decades it's been all about China. Vale holds biggest market share in
EU & Middle East, and a relatively small player in China.
Vale dominates seaborne pellet supply. DRI producers in
Middle East are particularly exposed to risk of Vale dam disaster. Working
assumption for Vale is around 30 MnT loss, he added.
The two day conference will focus on topics like - how
will global iron ore supply demand be in coming years, what will be the impact
of mineral auction 2020, What will be the impact of Vale mishap on seaborne
iron ore & pellet trade etc.
