Billet
Last
Saturday average price of billet was USD 684/mt ex-work including 9% VAT in
Iran domestic market. Low supply made price improve by Monday but by end of the
week market was quiet and waiting for a clear trend on coming days. Billet
price finished the week at USD 696/mt ex-work including 9% VAT. Market
participants expect billet price improve in coming days.
Long products
Debar
diameter 8-32 mm started the week at USD 843/mt , till Monday it was downward to
USD 824/mt ex-work including 9% VAT and up again to USD 837/mt. Market activity improved but high inventory
levels didn’t let prices improve. Market participants were waiting for debar
and I-beam supply trend in this week.
This
trend was seen in I-beam market too as average price of sizes 14,16,18 rose
from USD 995/mt to USD 1007/mt ex-work Esfahan including 9% VAT. Market
participants were expecting prices increase in coming days.
Flat products
Average price of HRC 2 mm thickness declined from
USD 1138/mt ex-work Esfahan including 9% VAT to USD 1095/mt by last Wednesday.
Price of Ahwaz Rolling and pipe co product was also downward to USD 1071/mt by
end of the week. For thickness 3-15 mm, price experienced some fluctuations
till Wednesday it was USD 1039/mt ex-work including 9% VAT. Kavian co HRP thickness
12-15 mm almost unchanged at USD 931/mt ex-work including 9% VAT. Oxin co
products thickness 10-40 mm were downward as average price dropped from USD 957/mt
to USD 952/mt. Besides, sizes 15 and 30 mm were in limited supply.
CRC base price at IME declined from USD 1263/mt a
week ago to USD 1137/mt ex-work excluding 9% VAT. Retail market was downward
too as average price dropped from USD 1572/mt to USD 1548/mt ex-work including
9% VAT.
HDG price was also downward from USD 1859/mt to
USD 1828/mt ex-work including 9% VAT.
