JMB reported that steel sheet market price continues rising in Asia. Japanese sheet export price is around USD 850 per tonne FOB for cold rolled coil for May to June shipment, above USD 900 per tonne for hot dipped galvanized sheet and around USD 950 per tonne for electro galvanized sheet.
These sheet prices increased by about USD 100 from March 2010. Spot export price of hot coil is surging to USD 750 for May shipment. The market price is expected to rise more. For June shipment, the price might reach USD 800 for hot coil, USD 900 for cold rolled coil and USD 1,000 for surface treated sheet.
