Billet
Billet market experienced a week full of fluctuations. Average
price of billet sizes 125 mm and 150 mm started the week at USD930 /mt
ex-work including 9% VAT, it rose to USD919/mt by Monday and finished the
week at USD 900/mt ex-work including 9% VAT. Fluctuations in exchange
market and market ambiguities made billet price up and down.
long products
Long products market followed billet price fluctuations.
Average price of debar diameter 8-32 mm started the week at USD 1135.5 /mt
ex-work including 9% VAT, by Sunday every trader was a seller therefore
price dropped to USD 1113 /mt but due to problem of billet supply debar
price rose again by Tuesday.
I-beam price also followed the same trend. Average price of
sizes 14,16,18 mm was offered by USD 1151/mt ex-work including 9% VAT by
Esfahan Steel co by Saturday and dropped to USD 1071 /mt by Wednesday.
Flat products
HRC 2 mm thickness was USD 1357 /mt on truck in Anzali
including 9% VAT and custom duties Lower ex-rate made price drop to USD 1119/my
and then improved a little to USD 1155/mt. In domestic market, HRC
price of Ahwaz Rolling and Pipe co was offered in limited tonnage at USD 1262
/mt ex-work excluding VAT but by end of the week dropped to USD 1000 /mt.
Mobarakeh Steel co HRC thickness 3-15 mm started the week at average of USD
957 /mt which dropped to USD 946 /mt by Wednesday due to lack of demand but
supply is still limited.
Oxin co HRP thickness 10-40 mm started the week at USD 1071/mt,
by Monday was USD 964/mt. By end of the week it rose to USD 1009/mt.
CRC market was still in limited supply but lower ex-rate made
price drop from USD1520/mt to USD 1418/mt and by Wednesday rose to USD 1463/mt.
This upward trend may continue for a while. HDG market was in a same trend
like CRC but market inventory is decreasing and coming weeks trend is not
clear.
