It is reported that China"s steel export is estimated to stay at 62 million tonnes in 2009.
Aaccording to South China Metal Transaction Center in Guangzhou city, China will consume 460 million tonnes to 470 million tonnes of crude steel in 2009 and the downstream demand will probably pick up in the Q2 of 2009.
In consideration of the global economic slowdown and international demand shrinkage steel export of China may hardly rise again in a short period even if the government has eliminated the export tariff on some steel products.
