According to the statistics, the iron ore exports in Port Hedland,
one of the major iron ore exporting ports in Western Australia, totaled around
42.6 million tons in April, up by 1% year on year and slightly higher than 42.1
million tons in March.
Among them, the exports to China were around 36.2 million tons, increasing by
3.7% compared to last April; those to South Korea were around 3.3 million tons,
falling by 4.38% from the same month last year; those to Japan were around 1.04
million tons, dropping by 54.24% from the same month a year ago; those to India
were around 711,000 tons.
