It is reported that to offset cost rise, Taiwan''s China Steel Corporation will slightly increase their steel list prices for April and May.
However, according to local suppliers, they have difficulty in pushing HRC prices up to TWD 20,000 per tonne due to slow demand and oversupply.
Unlike HRC''s price, CRC''s price is very likely to climb to TWD 25,000 per tonne thanks to strong demand and scarce supply in the market.
Now the difference in HRC and CRC''s price has climbed to TWD 5,000 per tonne extraordinarily. In general, the price difference is TWD 3,000 per tonne.
