It is reported that South Korean CRC producers are mulling over hiking their export price for March 2010 shipment. They will start the price talk with overseas customers next week and the planned price increase is likely to be at USD 20 per tonne.
Therefore, export price of South Korean CRC will be pushed up to USD 700 per tonne that of HDG at USD 750 per tonne and PPGI, at USD 900 per tonne as compared with the offer for Feb shipment.
Main driver behind such price hike is the jumping international offer, especially for China, Steel Daily understands. Currently, China provides USD 670 to USD 700 per tonne for its exported CRC, up USD 30 to USD 60 per tonne from its Feb shipment offer.
