According to Japan Ministry of Finance
announced in July this year, Japan’s steel products import and export
statistics, in July this year Japan exported 354,600 tons of steel, increased
3.2% month on month, rose 1.3% year on year, for three consecutive months.
In July this year, Japan’s steel imports totaled 579,000 tons, fell 6.9% month
on month, down 4.5% year on year, for two consecutive months. Since March 2016,
the production was below 600,000 tons for two months in a row for the first
time.
