According to EU statistics, in June this
year, the 28 European member states imported 10.16 million tons of iron ore,
down slightly to 0.8% year on year.
During the first six months this year, the 28 European member states total
production was 53.323 million tons, down 9.2% year on year. Among them,
European unit imported 25 million tons of iron ore from Brazil, accounting for
47% of the total imports.
In the first six months of this year, the total import value was US$2787
million tons, down 27.7% year on year.
