(BDSV) the latest data, in first 20 days of May, Germany domestic scrap prices
rose €50/ton (about US$56s/ton), an increase of €6/ton (about US$7/ton).
In May this year, Germany crushed scrap (E40) prices rose €49.4/ton to
€236.6/ton ( about US$265/ton); the old scrap (E1) rose €47.7/ton to €211.4/ton
(about US$ 237/ton); the new production scrap (E2/E8) rose to €52.6/ton to
€230.4/ton (US$258/ton), respectively.
