According to statistics, in March this
year Korea’s scrap exports totaled 31,000 tons, an increase of 3.9% year on
year. Korea exported 11,000 tons to India, an increase of 19% year on year,
more than 10,000 tons for the first time in 2 months.
During the first three months of this year, Korea exported 120,000 tons of
scrap steel, an increase of 14.6% year on year, the average monthly exports
were 40,000 tons, it estimated an annual scarp export of 480,000 tons.
Among them, Korea exported 34,000 tons of scarp to Bangladesh, accounting for
28.6% of the total exports, an increase of 79416.2% year on year; India was
31,000 tons, accounting for 25.8% of total exports, an increase of 38.4% year
on year.
