Shanxi Youth Daily reported that China will hold the annual coal conference in Fuzhou of eastern China’s Fujian province on December 10th 2008.
According to Mr Li Bingyi Secretary-general of Shanxi Coal Industry Association said that there will be over 10,000 people attending the conference, on which coal miners and power producers would negotiate and sign contracts on supplies for the next year, but the contract price may not be settled on the instant.
He said that the contract price will definitely fall this year, as the market is already in a low time and coal price still is on the downtrend.
