Wikimedia IRNA reported that Iranian
Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization said on
Saturday that more than 20 percent of crude steel produced in the country were
exported in the past nine months of the Iranian year.
The IMIDRO said that more than 2.6 million tons out of about 12 million tons of
Iran's crude steel output were exported to foreign markets in the past nine
months of the year.
IMIDRO said that export of steel from Iran is expected to reach three million
tons by end of the year, a figure unprecedented compared to that of the
preceding periods.
