Brazil's iron ore exports drop in May

According to data released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, the country’s iron ore exports totaled 23.65 million tons in May, decreasing by 0.76% from the same month a year ago.
On the annual basis, the export prices on average dropped by 19% to US$27/ton from the same month a year ago. 
During the first five months, the country’s iron ore exports hit 126 million tons. It is estimated that the total exports will reach 300 million tons this year.
