The spot price of iron ore fines 62% to China is being offering at
US$56.43/ton, dropping by US$0.18/ton or 0.32% from the previous price. The
average price of iron ore was US$50.67/ton in the month.
Meanwhile, the China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) decreased by 0.52 points or
0.25% week on week to 209.59 points as of April 30th, according to the latest
statistics by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
