Kyoei Steel, the largest rebar maker in
Japan, has announced to keep its new rebar contract price flat for May again.
After the adjustment, Kyoei Steel's new price for OD 16~25 mm SD 295 rebar will
still stay at ￥59,000~60,000/ton.
The current rebar market price is about ￥58,000~59,000/ton in Tokyo. In fact,
Japan's scrap price has reached the bottom.
