It
is reported that China Minsheng Investment Corporation Limited has planned to
invest US$1.6 billion to build a steel plant in Indonesia.
This investment group announced its investment
plans of the US$5 billion industrial park last month when the current President
of Indonesia visited Beijing.
During his visit, the President of Indonesia has
entered tentative agreements with Chinese companies and state banks for more
than US$60 billion investment and financing in Indonesia.
