According to statistics released by the State
Statistics Committee of Ukraine, the country’s iron ore exports totaled
11.11million tons in the first quarter, rising by 20.6% year on year.
During the given period, the country’s export values generated by iron ore
amounted to US$684 million, plunging by 38.7% compared to the same time of last
year.
Meanwhile, Ukraine imported 594,849 tons of iron ore during January to March,
plunging by 35.5% year on year. The export values were at US$30.39 million.
