CSC to increase Q3 export prices by 10pct

Bloomberg reported that China Steel Corporation will increase export prices for the August to October 2009 period by more than 10% on increased demand for the metal in Asia.

As per report, the increase is larger than the 7% rise for domestic customers and comes after Asian rivals of the company raised prices.

It may be noted that CSC announced on June 10th 2009 a 7% increase in July to August 2009 period prices for domestic customers.
