It’s reported that Turkey has been quite active in the scrap market during recent couple of weeks, plus increasing purchase from Far East, which pushes the scrap prices go up.
The US scrap H1 and H2 was offered at USD 260 per tonnes this week increased from last week’s level of USD 253 per tonnes to USD 255 per tonnes.
At the same time, European origin scrap H1 and H2 was settled at USD 246 per tonnes and A3 scrap from Black Sea just back to USD 240 per tonnes to USD 255 per tonnes.
