According to the statistics by World Steel Association (WSA), global crude steel production in October declined by 12.4 percent compared with the same period last year, reaching about 100 million tons.
Global production of crude steel amounted to 1.1362 billion tons in the first ten months, surpassing the number last year by 2.9 percent.
In October, China produced 35.9 million tons of crude steel, dropping by 17 percent compared with the same period last year and 9.4 percent compared with the last month.
