It is reported that in the later last week, the demand for finished products in the Middle East seemed stable. Although the scrap and billet prices enjoyed a rather long-time pick up they finally were on the slide last week.
Currently, the Turkish billet is quoted at USD 395 per tonne down by USD 20 per tonne on last week. This price has been accepted by the market and purchasing volume has reached 28,000 tons.
As for the CIS billet price, it also suffered a drop of USD 20 per tonne on last week.
