Brazilian domestic steel price under sever pressure

Mr Felipe Hirai analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co said that Brazil''s steel price may be down again now because of domestic slack demand and high stock for steel.

According to related statistics, Brazil''s flat steel consumption in April 2009 was down by 5% MoM to 10% MoM as compared to last month, and the present stock is enough for three and a half months'' consumption demand.
