China’s domestic steel prices consecutively reduced since the end of February, but the margin of decrease seems to lessen since the end of March.
Some mills forecast that the China’s HRC market may slide again. Baosteel informed their domestic users last week that they’ll plan to decrease RMB200/ton for May; meanwhile, it’s said that Wisco will also reduce the HRC price in May whose offer will be similar to Baosteel’s.
Anshan Iron & Steel Group’s HRC price may remain changeless in May because the margin of reduction of April is US$80/ton which has been bigger than Baosteel. Source: Yieh.com
