<span class="wntoptext03"><span>Recently, the scrap import prices have fluctuated in Asia.</span></span><span class="apple-converted-space"><span> </span></span><span><br> <span class="wntoptext03">At present, the deal prices of the US container HMS scrap 80:20 (1&2) to Malaysia are at US$490/ton C&F and that to Southeast Asia are at US$485~US$490/ton C&F, which remained flat in comparison of that in the beginning of July.</span><br> <span class="wntoptext03">Nevertheless, Asian buyers have taken wait-and-see attitude toward the high scrap prices.</span><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><span class="wntoptext03"> A Chinese steelmaker said that it expected that the scrap deal prices could fall to US$482~US$483/ton C&F; however, the US steel mills are reluctant to decrease the prices.</span><br> <span class="wntoptext03">It’s known that US scrap exporters have seen the scrap prices to hike in Asia, they’ve remained that scrap export quotes at high level.</span><br> ( Source: <a href="http://www.yieh.com/"><span><u><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">www.yieh.com</font></u></span></a> )</span>
