The Russian scrap prices keep soaring with the replenishment of scrap stock by Turkish steel mills.
According to traders, the export prices of scrap A3 from Russia have boosted to around USD 415 per tonne to USD 420 per tonne FOB up by USD 10 per tonne from last month.
Also, the appreciation of EURO will be more competitive for the scarp price quoted by US dollar. Recently, the local prices of scrap A3 in Russia were about USD 369 per tonne to USD 398 per tonne in middle of May.
