Japan’s top steelmaker Tokyo Steel has just posted a plain prices policy for May shipment, with a purpose to put top priority on the country’s recovery from disaster with steady prices. Reuters reported.
At the same time, its rival, Nippon Steel had also kept prices of H-beams unchanged for April.
Besides, affected by the deepening uncertainties over the Japan’s economy outlook, the country’s steel industries have faced high input cost and pressure from smaller profitability.
