Japanese constructions, especially large-sized and high-rise buildings are mainly made up by steel structures which have good performance in earthquake resistance and firmness. Although Daiwa House Industry Co Ltd the representative of Japanese housing enterprises rolls out steel structure with good quality, the country still need to import steel structure from abroad each year to make up the shortage.
Shanghai Securities News reported that Japan will gradually enter a reconstruction period after the severe quake and China export of steel structure to it will be boosted, as per industrial prediction. But the chronic term for reconstruction will dilute the driving force.
As per report, Japanese usually adopt steel structure, wood structure and a small part of reinforce concrete structure. Japan started to largely introduce steel structure early in 1960 for its good performance in earthquake resistance. Its reconstruction will expectedly increase the import of steel structure. Many a steel structure enterprises in China including Jinggong Steel Building Group have gotten Japanese steel structure H-stage performance certification and can export products to Japan. These enterprises in China may participate in the reconstruction of Japan by means of national assistance or direct export.
Some industrial sources point out that the effect of the driving force coming with the quake in Japan cannot be manifest in short period in light of the long reconstruction period. Mr Chen Duan Chairman Secretary with Mr Zhe Jiang Hang Xiao Steel Structure co Ltd said “One month has just passed after the quake and now to set up board houses is largely taken in earthquake areas. The rebuilding of large-sized buildings is expected to kick off at least half a year later.”
According to Shenyin Wanguo Securities’ analyst, China export of steel structure to Japan is small at present. The quake happening in Japan this time is a very good proof of the high quake-resisting performance of steel structure and will attach great importance on the globe and from the long run, will help to promote the use of steel structure in large-sized public buildings and high rise buildings in China
